After the powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar on March 28, 2025, causing widespread devastation, Let’s Save The Strays International (LSTSI) is working alongside Animals Australia to help animals affected by the disaster. LSTSI, which has been active in Myanmar for years, is providing vital care to stray animals in the impacted regions, including Mandalay and Yangon.
The earthquake left many animals injured or abandoned, and LSTSI’s ongoing relief efforts are focused on providing food, medical care, and shelter for these vulnerable animals. Their collaboration with local organizations helps ensure that animals in need receive immediate support.
For more details, read the full article from The Animal Reader on the earthquake’s impact on animals and how LSTSI is contributing to the relief efforts.
