After the 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar on March 28, 2025, devastating Mandalay and surrounding areas, Let’s Save The Strays International (LSTSI) quickly shifted their focus to assist both people and pets in the aftermath. With infrastructure collapsed and many displaced, LSTSI has been offering free veterinary care, pet food, and vaccinations to animals affected by the disaster.

LSTSI’s local team, including several veterinarians and volunteers, is providing critical support to stray and pet animals in Mandalay and surrounding villages, where many homes were destroyed. Despite challenges, the team has treated dozens of animals each day and distributed thousands of pounds of pet food to local families.

For more information about the ongoing relief efforts and how LSTSI is making a difference, read the full article on Forbes here.
